What People Are Saying
"A year ago I could not walk more than fifty or sixty yards before having to rest to allow the pain in my left hip to subside and I walked with a peculiar swaying gait throwing out my left leg like a concrete post.
My Primary Care Doctor had my hip x-rayed and referred me to an Orthopedic Surgeon. His parting words to me were that he thought I was on track for a hip replacement.
At that time I had a neck massage and noticed a benefit, so I asked for a recommendation for someone who had expertise in hips as well as necks. The recommendation was, of course, you.
Even after just one treatment I felt an improvement in my walking. I had about three treatments when I went to see the surgeon. His opinion was that I did not need a new hip - and probably never would. He gave me some exercises and sent me on my way. The exercises did not do much for me and so I returned to you.
Since you have been working on my neck and hip, the results have been amazing. I do not understand how you do what you do with all your different techniques, but I know that they work.
From not being able to walk further than sixty yards, I can now walk up to a quarter mile and instead of "stumping", my hip moves a lot more freely and smoothly. The difference this easier mobility has made in my life is amazing."
"Susan did a wonderful job of making me feel relaxed while deeply focusing on my injured neck and back; working to not only relax, but to fix and heal. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family."
"I was in an auto accident and I didn't know what to expect. Sue made everything easy and seamless. She has covenient hours so despite my busy work schedule, getting in to see her was a breeze. She really has a passion for what she does and is great at it! I highly recommend going to see Sue, she will get you on the
road to recovery."
"I started seeing Susan a couple of months ago for a rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder. If you have ever had this surgery it's important that you tell your doctor that you need to have massage as a part of your recovery. Susan started very slow since my shoulder was not completely healed, primarily joint manipulations, stretching and keeping the muscles around the shoulder loose. As time progressed, she started to incorporate deep tissue massage and trigger point work. The deep tissue massage is at times uncomfortable but very necessary to improve function and mobility. To compare Susan's skills to other massage therapists: I also had surgery on my left shoulder and had a different massage therapist work on that injury. The progress was very slow and he did not use any of Susan's techniques, he was never able to release my locked muscles as effectively as Susan was able to.
If you need a good therapist look no further."
"Susan is a wonderful massage therapist! She truly wants her clients to feel the best they can; many times I have left from a massage with stretches and exercise as homework to maintain the work completed during the massage session. Her experience and knowledge blend for the upmost benefit for her clients."
